The historical prerequisites for the initial printing are clarified. The specifics of the \u00ab\u041b\u044f\u043c\u0435\u043d\u0442\u2026\u00bb genre are characterized as well as its connection to the traditions of Ukrainian literature, in particular to folklore and laments.
